So, I had my sweet girl! JJD fans, meet Jory Lynn, born on August 7, 2011…7 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches of cuteness.

Maternity leave has been anything but “restful” but I appreciate your patience while I get my bearings and get the hang of the whole “two kids” thing!

I’ll be back blogging SOON with some pretty new holiday card designs, some additions to my portfolio, and probably a few new birth announcements for the shop as well!

I suppose I have had a decent reason for the hiatus…this pregnancy has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life, and I’m now on bedrest. You can read more about that here if you so choose, so I won’t bore you with the deets.

However, bedrest does mean that I have quite a bit more time to work, so I am happily taking on many more blog designs than I originally anticipated. If you’re wanting to order one before my maternity leave starts in the middle of July, now is the time!
